The Account Managers at STG, making up the STG Team, offer a wide range of experience. Some have a pure, road transport background – others from the shipping industry. One has worked at Heathrow, predominately on air freight – another in logistics, most recently at Amazon.
It is this combination, coupled with the principle of a dedicated Account Manager, that makes STG unique – notwithstanding the fact that every customer is provided not only with the Account Managers email address (24/7) but also, more importantly, their direct line and mobile phone numbers.
Some customer relationships go back decades, some are more recent. Very, very occasionally we may suggest that another Account Manager takes over – normally because the customers traffic profile has changed slightly.
Equally, at peak times, a colleague may step in temporarily to give a hand – without disturbing the principle relationship. The same applies to a major project, where contributions are needed from several members of The Team.
Finally, on a person to person basis, STG Account Managers are always open to suggestions on ways in which to improve their services.
