Over almost 30 years, STG have used almost every device and technique imaginable to solve transport problems.
On the trailer front, although we have described many (of the types) in the several sections, we haven’t touched on – refrigerated trailers, used in connection with the movement of temperature sensitive, pharmaceutical products – trailers equipped not only with air suspension but also air cradles, in order to minimise any shock effect on the cargo – tilt tables, in order to reduce width, eliminating the need for police escorts, etc.
When asked if we could – provide overnight security for an exhibition on the bank of the Thames – satisfy the Home Office and other parties in connection with the movement of military cargo – close Piccadilly overnight, in order to deliver an oversize sculpture into the Royal Academy – all of these and many more were in the line of duty.
We ‘blinked’ when asked to deliver equipment to an observatory, managed by Cambridge University, perched on a mountain top in Tenerife – with the discovery that they was no access road in the accepted sense, this being just one of the issues involved – the STG Team regarded this as a fascinating challenge, yet another to be solved.
The accumulation of knowledge, combined with commitment and innovation, make STG the logical choice – for ALL transport problems.
