Since its inception, STG has delivered a multitude of cost-efficient road freight projects, utilising a broad range of road networks. Our road forwarding solutions are comprehensive and meticulously planned ahead of time to optimise the collection and delivery of every consignment.
Standard trailers form the backbone of STG’s operations, from open flatbeds and curtain-siders to Euroliners – from one-off moves to multi-trailer projects. Our record? Over 400 trailers mobilised on a single project. Oversized means over length, over width, over height, and often over weight. In over 30 years, STG has handled every possible combination. Seen here are the spars for the world’s largest yacht, at the start of their journey to Turkey, a prime example of the scale and precision of our logistics solutions.
Not only were the 32 capsules for the London Eye oversized, but there wasn’t a single spare. Had even one been damaged, the structure would have been out of balance. And with an absolute deadline looming: delivery in time for Millennium Night, there was no room for error. Precision, care, and timing were everything.
STG prides itself on being dependable, no matter the situation. We have been called upon to operate in some of the most extreme weather conditions, not only in Europe but elsewhere in the world. Seen here north of the Arctic Circle, this truck is delivering vital military equipment in temperatures below -20°C, a clear example of our capability to perform under pressure, no matter the environment.
While road transport often takes the spotlight, rail freight remains a vital part of overland logistics. In this example, bridge fabrications arriving by sea into Tallinn are being transferred to rail for the long overland journey to Kazakhstan, demonstrating STG’s ability to integrate multiple modes seamlessly, even across vast distances.
